Seriously, it gets just that much better...

Well, as a follow up to the previous post where my anger and frustration all came out, I must say that after all that trouble to get the stinkin prescription, what do you think happened?

1. The very next day all of his 3 months supply came in the mail a few days early making my eventful night all for naught.

2. That same day the Dr. called concerned about the level of medicine in Bart's body and said to increase the doseage--just fine with us, but then he said, "We'll likely look at changing it at the appt in about 10 days."

Um, sweet. After all this effort and $100 worth of pills, now we aren't going to need them in 10 days. Oh, how I love the medical world. But alas, whatever keeps my husband safe, healthy, and happy, right?

Stupid healthcare system.

Good grief!!! Isn't that how it always goes. Jeff had a prescription one time that made him horribly sick and so the doctor told us to immediately stop using it. But it cost $90 and we were so poor!!! It felt like we flushed money down the toilet.

You poor thing! I'll pity you! You're right to be grateful for health insurance. I don't think you're right to think Obama will/can fix it the way it needs to be (believe me, after living in a country with socialized medicine, we do NOT want socialized medicine - it doesn't work) but you're right to hope. And, I'm glad Bart's ok. Merry Christmas.

sorry to hear about all of the recent trials, Mindy.

Let your kids know that I have uploaded a new video of Jonah and will do more of the others. (Playing with the new flip video is fun) Oh, and sorry (and thanks) for all of the running around to find it this past week!

Why we joined this bloggy-blog world!

We hope that we can keep in better contact with our friends and family, both near and far. Besides, it is easier to see pictures this way instead of emailing them! And did we mention we think our family is pretty cute, especially those kids of ours! Check back often and keep in touch!

About Me

I am a proud 32 year old woman (you know they say 30 is the new 20!) I am married to Bart, the love of my life, and we have three amazing kids, Jacob, 6 1/2, Anna,3 1/2, and Rachel 9 mos. We met in college in Utah and lived there for the first 6 years of our marriage. Then we followed Bart's career and moved out to the East Coast. We decided to follow it back to the west about a year ago and are adjusting to life in a new place. We are sure thankful for all that we have and hope to stay in better touch with friends and family alike with our blog!
