I'm alive!

Hello! This will have to be short, but wanted to say thank you to everyone for thoughts, prayers, calls, and food! I am doing better than I thought I would be. Thanks to my aamazing parents. Glad my sis in law is coming too. Not ready to be on my own yet. Start therapy in the a.m. Still in sling. Less meds=better sleep soon, I hope. Will test out driving soon! YAY! Thanks again to all! More when I am not so disabled!

I'm so glad you're alive! I hope things continue to improve and you don't have to have too much pain! Pain makes parenting a lot more difficult!

Whew! Glad you are healing faster than originally forecasted. You certainly are a trooper going to Costco the day after surgery!

Love your parents! They are super heroes!! (love you too, of course!)

Hey Mindy
I was going through my files and found an old e-mail and yay it's led me to you guys. We would love to get in touch with you guys. I am glad that you are doing well... though it sounds like it's been quite an ordeal for you lately.

Nate's turn:
I am glad your surgery went well. Shoulder surgery is a bugger. I hope your anesthesia crew took good care of you. The nerve blocks are great, but need a bit of explaining before hand. I wish I knew you were having surgery, I do these blocks quite often, and could have told you all about them.
We are glad you are doing well. Drop us a line

Why we joined this bloggy-blog world!

We hope that we can keep in better contact with our friends and family, both near and far. Besides, it is easier to see pictures this way instead of emailing them! And did we mention we think our family is pretty cute, especially those kids of ours! Check back often and keep in touch!

About Me

I am a proud 32 year old woman (you know they say 30 is the new 20!) I am married to Bart, the love of my life, and we have three amazing kids, Jacob, 6 1/2, Anna,3 1/2, and Rachel 9 mos. We met in college in Utah and lived there for the first 6 years of our marriage. Then we followed Bart's career and moved out to the East Coast. We decided to follow it back to the west about a year ago and are adjusting to life in a new place. We are sure thankful for all that we have and hope to stay in better touch with friends and family alike with our blog!
