Rachel's gone mobile

I'm quite certain it won't be too long before I am using that phrase in reference to some sort of electronic device, but for now, it just means that Rachel has decided to crawl. I actually am welcoming the phase. It definitely changes everything and means more supervision and vacuuming, but it also means that I don't have to carry her as much. Don't get me wrong, I love to snuggle a cute baby, but it is nice when they can move on their own too, especially with a recent shoulder injury, this should make my life easier. I did forget, however, that it makes it harder at church and leads to much more squirminess in the arms. So, I have a couple of videos for your enjoyment. We were home on Saturday night, just me and Bart with Rachel. The other kiddos were in bed, so it was fun to get to watch this milestone together and enjoy it with this sweet baby girl. The first video or two shows her original attempts and by the last video, you can see she has mastered the art of movement. Welcome to the big girl world, my baby girl!

That made me smile! She is getting so big, so fast. I love seeing the progression of the crawl.

Oh, yea! I am so happy she is crawling. Charlotte still hasn't reached the stage of crawling. I am actually really looking forward to it so she won't get so angry when I leave the room momentarily...she can just follow me, right? She is a cutie pie. Hopefully Charlotte isn't too far behind!

Yeah for Rachie! She is so darn cute and your kids look so much like each other.

Why we joined this bloggy-blog world!

We hope that we can keep in better contact with our friends and family, both near and far. Besides, it is easier to see pictures this way instead of emailing them! And did we mention we think our family is pretty cute, especially those kids of ours! Check back often and keep in touch!

About Me

I am a proud 32 year old woman (you know they say 30 is the new 20!) I am married to Bart, the love of my life, and we have three amazing kids, Jacob, 6 1/2, Anna,3 1/2, and Rachel 9 mos. We met in college in Utah and lived there for the first 6 years of our marriage. Then we followed Bart's career and moved out to the East Coast. We decided to follow it back to the west about a year ago and are adjusting to life in a new place. We are sure thankful for all that we have and hope to stay in better touch with friends and family alike with our blog!
