Anna's 4th Birthday!

What a great 4 year old girl we have. Anna is so fabulous--to use one of her most favorite words. We had so much fun celebrating her this year. We have never had a friend party for her, so this was a big deal to say the least. I think I had as much fun planning it as she did enjoying it. I think every parent should do a home party at least once to see the joy on their kids faces as you do it for them.
As for Anna Kathleen, she is a very happy 4 yr old. She loves to color, play Barbies, wear make up, shoes, and dresses all the time. She likes to paint her nails (or have them done rather), play Littlest Pet Shops and babies. She adores her siblings...one she follows and the other she leads. She likes Primary and singing and will give a concert for most anyone. Anna is excited to go to pre-school in the Fall and is counting down until Kindergarten in 2010 when she can get on that big yellow bus. Mom is NOT counting that down so much. Anna also loves to help me cook and clean and is great at both of them. We have a lot of fun together. She is ALL girl, but has a hint of tomboy in her when she is chasing her brother on the big wheel, she just does it in a skirt. She will eat almost anything. Her favorite food is ice-cream (vanilla) and her favorite color is pink. Anna is 35 pounds and 39 inches tall. We are hoping to beef her up a bit to promote her to a booster in the car. Oh, Anna, we sure love you and had a fantastic time celebrating you. Thank you for all you do and for being such a great girl. Happy Birthday, Annie!

Anna on the front steps before the party.
The dining room table--waiting for the girls to arrive!
A little extra crepe paper goes a long way!
She was so excited when she came home to find the decorations--she came running out and yelled, "It looks WONDERFUL in here, Mom". That made my day!

The girls after they decorated their purses that we
later filled with prizes.

Anna racing around for musical chairs. She gracefully let the other girl win, but she gave it her best effort for sure.

The after look of "Pin the crown on the Princess".
By the way, Cinderella is hard to draw!

The Princess Castle Cake, my one armed masterpiece!

Getting ready to sing to Anna.

Anna laughing as we sing. She was so proud and excited all day.

Anna blowing out the candles!

Thank you for being so awesome. We love you, big girl!
Happy Birthday, Anna Kathleen Hannah Montana (Banana Pants only allowed sometimes) Williams!
